As proprietor of Millenium Leather, Ibrahim Özen has a rather unusual background, as he graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU) as a civil engineer.
Originally from Izmir, Ibrahim moved to Kusadasi and spent 10 years helping his brother to run his chain of shops. After his brother retired from the leather industry, Ibrahim opened his own leather shop on Saglik Street in February 2000.
With a business motto of
'wanting to meet his customers needs',
Ibrahim certainly does his best to keep to his word.
Multi lingual salesmen ensure that whoever comes into the shop is attended to by someone who can speak their native language.
With a vast range of men, women and children's jackets, coats, waistcoats or trousers you are sure to find something that you like. Find the colour you like with one jacket, the style you like with another, it is no problem a tailor is called and your jacket can be made. Should you turn up with a picture of a jacket you want, again no problem the tailor will take your measurements and within a couple of days you can have your desired jacket.
Comfortable sofas are dotted around the air conditioned store and refreshments are offered to make your shopping trip a relaxing experience.
Should you be worried about your luggage being over weight on your return journey to your native country, Ibrahim will arrange for your purchases to be delivered to your home address by cargo.
Short of money at the end of your holiday, again Ibrahim will put your desired purchase to one side, when you arrive home transfer the amount for your purchase to Ibrahim's account and he will cargo your purchase to you.
Nothing is too much trouble at Millenium Leather.
