As we reported a couple of months ago the Mayor of Kusadasi, Esat Altungun is overseeing various renovation projects within the town. The latest building to have received attention has now been reopened under the new name of “Ibramaki Sanat Galerisi”. Situated at the port end of the seafront next to Yapi Kredi bank, the care taken to restore the building is obvious.
The first exhibitor of work at the gallery was Sedar Yoruk.
He was born in 1978 and attended primary and junior school in Kusadasi. Having graduated from various Universities with a variety of textile and art qualifications his exhibition showed traditional Turkish textile designs. The designs were available for purchase.
